I am an energy and environmental economist and a professor at the Crawford School of Public Policy at the Australian National University. I work on the role of energy in the economy and economic history, climate change, electricity, and the science of science including bibliometrics and meta-analysis. I am editor in chief of the Australian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics.
